The crowd at Monday's league bout between the St. Joseph Bulldogs (Conway, AR) and the visiting Guy-Perkins Thunderbirds (Guy, AR), observed St. Joseph's softball team get by Guy-Perkins by a tally of 13-8.

The Bulldogs (4-7) will now prepare for their bout against Quitman (Quitman, AR). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 12-5 record. In their last bout, Quitman was routed by Cabot (Cabot, AR), 7-1, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds battle the Nemo Vista Red Hawks (Center Ridge, AR) in a 1A Region 5 bout, on Tuesday, April 15. Guy-Perkins will attempt to advance on its 2-6 season record. The Red Hawks go into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 10-4 league loss to Sacred Heart (Morrilton, AR).
