Alabama High School Softball - Hanceville Locust Fork

The Locust Fork Hornets overwhelmed the visiting Hanceville Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 8-3 in Monday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Hornets meet the Vinemont Eagles (Vinemont, AL) in a 3A Area 12 challenge, on Tuesday, April 15. Locust Fork will attempt to upgrade on its 11-7 season record.

The Bulldogs (10-15) will now prepare for their challenge against Pennington (Blountsville, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league challenge with a 1-19 record. In their last challenge, Pennington was routed by Appalachian (Oneonta, AL), 12-1, in a non-league challenge.
