Virginia High School Softball - Highland Springs bested by Mechanicsville

April 14, 2025: Mechanicsville, VA 23111

The Mechanicsville Mustangs triumphed over the visiting Highland Springs Springers softball squad by a count of 16-6 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the Caroline Cavaliers (Milford, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 16. Mechanicsville will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 2-1 league win over King George (King George, VA).

The Springers (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against James River Midlothian (Midlothian, VA). The Rapids enter the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, James River Midlothian was routed by Midlothian (Midlothian, VA), 6-2, in a league challenge.
