Ohio High School Softball - Hopewell-Loudon bounces St. Joseph Central Catholic

The Hopewell-Loudon Chieftains (Bascom, OH) softball routed the host St. Joseph Central Catholic Crimson Streaks (Fremont, OH), 14-5 in Monday's league outing.

The Chieftains now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gibsonburg for a Sandusky Bay - River outing on Tuesday, April 15. Hopewell-Loudon will encounter a Golden Bears team coming off a 21-0 league win over St. Mary Central Catholic (Sandusky, OH). The Golden Bears record now stands at 5-4.

With the loss, St. Joseph Central Catholic moves to 3-4 on the season. The Crimson streaks host Lakota (Kansas, OH) to encounter the Raiders in a Sandusky Bay - River outing on Wednesday, April 16. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 3-3. Lakota won 16-9 in their recent league outing against Old Fort (Old Fort, OH)
