Minnesota High School Softball - Hopkins sneaks past Wayzata

The Hopkins Royals softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Wayzata Trojans to 3 in the Royals league win on Monday.

The Royals now possess a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Edina for a Lake battle on Wednesday, April 16. Hopkins will confront a Hornets team coming off a 7-4 non-league loss to St. Michael-Albertville (Albertville, MN). The Hornets record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Wayzata moves to 1-2 on the season. The Trojans host Eden Prairie (Eden Prairie, MN) to confront the Eagles in a Lake battle on Wednesday, April 16. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 1-0.
