Ohio High School Softball - Utica held off by Lakewood

April 14, 2025: Hebron, OH 43025

In Monday's league test, the Lakewood Lancers (Hebron, OH) softball squad got by the visiting Utica Redskins (Utica, OH), by a count of 6-5.

Next, the Lancers meet the Zanesville Blue Devils (Zanesville, OH) in a Licking County test, on Wednesday, April 16. Lakewood will attempt to upgrade on its 11-0 season record. The Blue Devils go into the test with a 0-8 record after their 12-0 league loss to Licking Valley (Newark, OH).

The Redskins (3-5) will now prepare for their test against Northridge (Johnstown, OH). The Vikings go into the Licking County test with a 4-6 record. In their last test, Northridge was nudged by Johnstown-Monroe (Johnstown, OH), 13-0, in a league test.
