Arizona High School Softball - Metro Tech can't get by Washington

Washington Rams (Phoenix, AZ) supporters left the game pleased Monday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Metro Tech Knights (Phoenix, AZ), 17-16 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Washington improves its record to 3-10 on the year. The Rams travel to Sierra Linda (Phoenix, AZ) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 15. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 1-10. Sierra Linda lost 19-0 in their recent non-league game against Glendale (Glendale, AZ)

The Knights now hold a 3-8 record. They play next when they host McClintock for a 5A Metro game on Tuesday, April 15. Metro Tech will play a Chargers squad coming off a 31-7 league win over Alhambra (Phoenix, AZ). The Chargers record now stands at 11-3.
