Mississippi High School Softball - Newton County bounces Southeast Lauderdale

In Monday's non-league match, the host Newton County Cougars softball team scored a nice 11-2 win over the Southeast Lauderdale Tigers.

The Cougars (15-9) will now prepare for their match against Enterprise (Enterprise, MS). The Bulldogs come into the non-league match with a 20-7 record.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Quitman Panthers (Quitman, MS) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, April 15. Southeast Lauderdale will attempt to better on its 7-17 season record. The Panthers come into the match with a 4-18 record after their 15-4 non-league loss to Meridian (Meridian, MS).
