The North Iredell Raiders softball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Statesville Greyhounds to 0 in the Raiders league win on Monday.

The Raiders now sport a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Stephens for a Western Foothills 3A battle on Tuesday, April 15. North Iredell will confront a Indians team coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Maiden (Maiden, NC). The Indians record now stands at 7-9.

With the loss, Statesville moves to 0-12 on the season. The Greyhounds host Hickory (Hickory, NC) to confront the Red Tornadoes in a Western Foothills 3A battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Red Tornadoes come into the battle with a record of 2-11. Hickory lost 9-6 in their recent league battle against West Iredell (Statesville, NC)
