The Paynesville Bulldogs softball team scored 8 runs and held the visiting Royalton Royals to 2 in the Bulldogs non-league win on Monday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milaca for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 15. Paynesville will confront a Wolves team coming off a 5-4 league loss to Foley (Foley, MN). The Wolves record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Royalton moves to 0-5 on the season. The Royals host Pierz (Pierz, MN) to confront the Pioneers in a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 15. The Pioneers come into the battle with a record of 3-0. Pierz won 3-2 in their recent league match against Holdingford (Holdingford, MN)
