Connecticut High School Softball - Portland can't get by Westbrook

The Westbrook Knights edged the visiting Portland Highlanders softball squad by a count of 8-7 in Monday's league challenge.

Next, the Knights meet the Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) in a Shoreline - Large challenge, on Wednesday, April 16. Westbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Panthers enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 21-2 league loss to Old Lyme (Old Lyme, CT).

The Highlanders (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against University/Classical Magnet (Hartford, CT). The Hawks enter the non-league challenge with a 0-0 record.
