Virginia High School Baseball - Blacksburg holds off Cave Spring

April 14, 2026: Roanoke, VA 24018

In Tuesday's league game, the visiting Blacksburg Bruins baseball team scored a close 12-8 win over the Cave Spring Knights.

The Bruins (7-2) will now prepare for their game against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Titans go into the River Ridge game with a 6-3 record. In their last game, Hidden Valley nudged Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA), 6-1, in a league game.

Next, the Knights play the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, April 15. Cave Spring will attempt to improve on its 5-4 season record. The Eagles go into the game with a 5-1 record after their 9-8 league loss to Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA).
