Texas High School Baseball - Itasca wallops Meridian

In Tuesday's league game, the host Itasca Wampus Cats baseball team scored a nice 16-4 win over the Meridian Yellowjackets.

The Wampus Cats (17-6) will now prepare for their game against Blum (Blum, TX). The Bobcats go into the non-league game with a 3-5 record.

Next, the Yellowjackets play the Italy Gladiators (Italy, TX) in a 2A Region II District 15 game, on Tuesday, April 21. Meridian will attempt to improve on its 0-8 season record.
