West Virginia High School Baseball - Webster County sneaks past Richwood

April 14, 2026: Upper Glade, WV 26206

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Webster County Highlanders (Upper Glade, WV) and the visiting Richwood Lumberjacks (Richwood, WV), saw Webster County's baseball team get by Richwood by a margin of 5-4.

The Highlanders (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Calhoun (Mt. Zion, WV). The Red Devils enter the Little Kanawha battle with a 1-12 record. In their last battle, Calhoun was tipped by Clay County (Clay, WV), 10-5, in a league battle.

Next, the Lumberjacks face the Sherman Tide (Seth, WV) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, April 16. Richwood will attempt to improve on its 3-5 season record. The Tide enter the battle with a 7-3 record after their 6-1 league loss to Man (Man, WV).
