The Alexander Central Cougars (Taylorsville, NC) softball routed the visiting McDowell Titans (Marion, NC), 10-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Cougars now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Foard for a non-league outing on Thursday, April 16. Alexander Central will encounter a Tigers team coming off a 10-0 league win over Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Tigers record now stands at 10-5.
