Arkansas High School Softball - Alpena bested by Cotter

The Cotter Warriors triumphed over the host Alpena Leopards softball squad by a count of 15-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Warriors play the Viola Longhorns (Viola, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 16. Cotter will attempt to upgrade on its 13-3 season record. The Longhorns enter the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 20-5 non-league win over Jasper (Jasper, AR).

The Leopards (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Norfork (Norfork, AR). The Panthers enter the non-league challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Norfork overcame Shirley (Shirley, AR), 19-0, in a non-league challenge.
