Arizona High School Softball - Apache Junction knocked off by Florence

In Tuesday's league test, the Florence Gophers (Florence, AZ) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ), by a count of 21-6.

Next, the Gophers meet the Globe Tigers (Globe, AZ) in a 3A Central test, on Wednesday, April 15. Florence will attempt to upgrade on its 5-11 season record. The Tigers go into the test with a 15-8 record after their 19-3 league win over Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ).

The Prospectors (1-11) will now prepare for their test against Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ). The Sentinels go into the 3A Central test with a 15-1 record. In their last test, Seton Catholic toppled Gilbert Christian (Gilbert, AZ), 14-1, in a non-league test.
