Tennessee High School Softball - Covington Brighton

The Brighton Cardinals the visiting Covington Chargers softball squad by a count of 8-5 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Cardinals meet the Millington Central Trojans (Millington, TN) in a 3A District 15 challenge, on Wednesday, April 15. Brighton will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 13-7 record after their 6-4 league win over Bolivar Central (Bolivar, TN).

The Chargers (6-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Baylor (Chattanooga, TN). The Red Raiders go into the non-league challenge with a 9-8 record. In their last challenge, Baylor held off Knoxville Catholic (Knoxville, TN), 11-1, in a league challenge.
