South Carolina High School Softball - Ridge Spring-Monetta bounces Calhoun County

April 14, 2026: St. Matthews, SC 29135

The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Ridge Spring-Monetta Trojans (Monetta, SC) and the host Calhoun County Saints (St. Matthews, SC), observed Ridge Spring-Monetta's softball team prevail over Calhoun County by a tally of 14-2.

The Trojans (13-5) will now prepare for their bout against Williston-Elko (Williston, SC). The Blue Devils go into the A Region 3 bout with a 4-7 record. In their last bout, Williston-Elko was routed by Wagener-Salley (Wagener, SC), 17-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Saints clash with the Hunter-Kinard-Tyler Trojans (Neeses, SC) in a A Region 3 bout, on Tuesday, April 28. Calhoun County will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record.
