Texas High School Softball - Canton sneaks past Mabank

April 14, 2026: Canton, TX 75103

In Tuesday's league match, the host Canton Eagles softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Mabank Panthers.

The Eagles (11-14) will now prepare for their match against Lindale (Lindale, TX). The Eagles come into the 4A Region II District 15 match with a 25-3 record. In their last match, Lindale nipped Athens (Athens, TX), 8-4, in a league match.

In their next game, the Panthers confront the Kemp Yellowjackets (Kemp, TX) in a 4A Region II District 15 match, on Friday, April 17. Mabank will attempt to better on its 9-18 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the match with a 3-20 record after their 10-0 league loss to Van (Van, TX).
