The Roy Royals (Roy, UT) softball routed the visiting Northridge Knights (Layton, UT), 12-7 in Tuesday's league outing.

The Royals now sport a 5-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Box Elder for a 5A Region 5 outing on Thursday, April 16. Roy will encounter a Bees team coming off a 11-0 league win over Bonneville (Washington Terrace, UT). The Bees record now stands at 17-1.

With the loss, Northridge moves to 3-10 on the season. The Knights travel to Fremont (Plain City, UT) to encounter the Wolves in a 5A Region 5 outing on Thursday, April 16. The Wolves come into the outing with a record of 8-11. Fremont lost 9-6 in their recent non-league outing against Syracuse (Syracuse, UT)
