Alabama High School Softball - Oakman bested by Oak Grove

April 14, 2026: Bessemer, AL 35023

The Oak Grove Tigers triumphed over the visiting Oakman Wildcats softball squad by a count of 10-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Tigers meet the Hueytown Golden Gophers (Hueytown, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 16. Oak Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 16-12 season record. The Golden Gophers enter the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 11-4 non-league win over Calera (Calera, AL).

The Wildcats (5-18) will now prepare for their challenge against Winfield (Winfield, AL). The Pirates enter the 3A Area 10 challenge with a 22-12 record. In their last challenge, Winfield overcame Gordo (Gordo, AL), 29-1, in a league challenge.
