The University Hawks baseball team scored 9 runs and limited the visiting Albert Gallatin Colonials to 2 in the Hawks non-league victory on Friday.
The Hawks (7-7) will now prepare for their match against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, WV). The Indians go into the non-league match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Bridgeport was overwhelmed by Huntington (Huntington, WV), 8-4, in a non-league match.
The Colonials (0-7) will now prepare for their match against Trinity (Washington, PA). The Hillers go into the WPIAL 5A 4 match with a 3-7 record. In their last match, Trinity was overwhelmed by Connellsville (Connellsville, PA), 10-7, in a league match.
