In Friday's league game, the visiting Long County Blue Tide baseball team scored a tight 14-12 victory over the Brantley County Herons.
The Blue Tide (17-5) will now prepare for their game against Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Pirates go into the AAA Region 1 game with a 13-6 record. In their last game, Appling County tipped Wayne County (Jesup, GA), 11-5, in a non-league game.
