The Cherokee County Warriors got by the visiting Hokes Bluff Eagles baseball team by a count of 8-7 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Warriors now possess a 14-15 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alexandria for a non-league bout on Monday, April 18. Cherokee County will face a Valley Cubs team coming off a 13-0 league win over St. Clair County (Odenville, AL). The Valley Cubs record now stands at 17-13.
Next, the Eagles face the Sardis Lions (Boaz, AL) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, April 19. Hokes Bluff will attempt to move on its 16-10 season record.
