In Friday's league game, the visiting Goddard Rockets baseball team scored a nice 18-1 victory over the Lovington Wildcats.
The Rockets (10-9) will now prepare for their game against Portales (Portales, NM). The Rams go into the 4A District 4 game with a 8-12 record. In their last game, Portales was overwhelmed by Artesia (Artesia, NM), 7-1, in a league game.
The Wildcats (4-14) will now prepare for their game against Artesia (Artesia, NM). The Bulldogs go into the 4A District 4 game with a 11-9 record. In their last game, Artesia overcame Portales (Portales, NM), 7-1, in a league game.
