The Jasper Wildcats crushed the visiting New Albany Bulldogs baseball team by a count of 11-1 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Wildcats now possess a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Heritage Hills for a non-league bout on Monday, April 18. Jasper will face a Patriots team coming off a 5-4 league loss to Boonville (Boonville, IN). The Patriots record now stands at 4-4.

Next, the Bulldogs face the Charlestown Pirates (Charlestown, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 16. New Albany will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Pirates enter the bout with a 3-5 record after their 19-6 non-league win over New Washington (New Washington, IN).
