Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host Byrd Terriers (Vinton, VA), 12-8 in a non-league test.

The Knights now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Blacksburg for a River Ridge test on Tuesday, April 19. Cave Spring will face a Bruins squad coming off a 18-1 league win over Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 6-0.

In their next game, the Terriers face the Glass Hilltoppers (Lynchburg, VA) in a non-league test, on Tuesday, April 19. Byrd will attempt to move on its 1-4 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the test with a 5-1 record after their 16-15 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA).
