In Friday's non-league game, the visiting Venice Gondoliers baseball team scored a tight 10-5 victory over the Roosevelt Rough Riders.
The Gondoliers (9-6) will now prepare for their game against University (Los Angeles, CA). The Wildcats go into the game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, University was overwhelmed by Westchester (Los Angeles, CA), 11-5, in a league game.
The Rough Riders (10-12) will now prepare for their game against Garfield (Los Angeles, CA). The Bulldogs go into the game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Garfield tipped South Gate (South Gate, CA), 8-4, in a league game.
