Oak Hills Bulldogs (Hesperia, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Apple Valley Sun Devils (Apple Valley, CA), 4-2 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Sultana for a challenge on Wednesday, April 20. Oak Hills will face a Sultans squad coming off a 17-17 league Serrano (Phelan, CA). The Sultans record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Apple Valley falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Sun devils host Serrano (Phelan, CA) to face the Diamondbacks in a challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Diamondbacks enter the challenge with a record of 10-4. Serrano won 23-8 in their recent league challenge against Hesperia (Hesperia, CA)
