In Friday's league contest, the Clairemont Chieftains (San Diego, CA) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Point Loma Pointers (San Diego, CA), by a margin of 10-0.
With the triumph, Clairemont moves its record to 5-10 on the year. The Chieftains host Academy of Our Lady of Peace (San Diego, CA) to play the Pilots in a contest on Wednesday, April 20. The Pilots come into the contest with a record of 1-5. Academy of Our Lady of Peace won 29-14 in their recent league contest against Canyon Hills (San Diego, CA)
In their next game, the Pointers play the San Dieguito Academy Mustangs (Encinitas, CA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 19. Point Loma will attempt to move on its 3-15 season record.
