The Lakota West Firebirds softball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Fairfield Indians to 0 in the Firebirds non-league triumph on Friday.
With the triumph, Lakota West moves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Firebirds host Hamilton (Hamilton, OH) to clash with the Big Blue in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 19. The Big Blue come into the game with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Indians clash with the Mason Comets (Mason, OH) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 18. Fairfield will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
