Spectators at Friday's league match between the South Pasadena Tigers (South Pasadena, CA) and the visiting La Canada Spartans (La Canada, CA), witnessed South Pasadena's softball squad tip La Canada by a count of 3-1.
The Tigers now sport a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Alhambra for a non-league match on Wednesday, April 20. South Pasadena will face a Moors squad coming off a 15-7 league loss to San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA). The Moors record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, La Canada moves to 2-7 on the season. The Spartans travel to Flintridge Sacred Heart (La Canada-Flintridge, CA) to face the Tologs in a non-league match on Friday, April 22. The Tologs go into the match with a record of 2-1.
