Douglas County Huskies (Castle Rock, CO) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad overcome the visiting Prairie View Thunderhawks (Henderson, CO), 10-3 in a league test.
The Huskies now have a 5-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Smoky Hill for a 5A League #1 test on Wednesday, April 20. Douglas County will face a Buffaloes squad coming off a 17-5 league loss to Lewis-Palmer (Monument, CO). The Buffaloes record now stands at 1-8.
In their next game, the Thunderhawks face the Mullen Mustangs (Denver, CO) in a 5A League #1 test, on Wednesday, April 20. Prairie View will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the test with a 3-6 record after their 11-4 league win over Pine Creek (Colorado Springs, CO).
