The Lexington Golden Bears (Lexington, AL) softball the host Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL), 4-2 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Golden Bears (5-13) will now prepare for their bout against Belgreen (Russellville, AL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league bout with a 11-10 record. In their last bout, Belgreen by Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL), 10-6, in a league bout.
The Indians now possess a 5-12 record. They play next when they host Red Bay for a 2A Area 14 bout on Monday, April 18. Colbert County will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Vina (Vina, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 9-9.
