The Enumclaw Hornets (Enumclaw, WA) softball routed the visiting Franklin Pierce Cardinals (Tacoma, WA), 12-2 in Friday's league bout.

The Hornets (8-3) will now prepare for their bout against Steilacoom (Steilacoom, WA). The Sentinels go into the 2A South Puget Sound bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Steilacoom notched a victory over Foss (Tacoma, WA), 33-7, in a league bout.

The Cardinals now possess a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to White River for a 2A South Puget Sound bout on Tuesday, April 19. Franklin Pierce will confront a Hornets squad coming off a 21-0 league win over Clover Park (Lakewood, WA). The Hornets record now stands at 7-2.
