The Masconomet Regional Chieftains softball team scored 10 runs and limited the host Saugus Sachems to 2 in the Chieftains non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Masconomet Regional moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Chieftains host Swampscott (Swampscott, MA) to play the Big Blue in a Northeast game on Wednesday, April 20. The Big Blue come into the game with a record of 2-1.

In their next game, the Sachems play the Stoneham Spartans (Stoneham, MA) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 18. Saugus will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record.
