Silver Creek Raiders (San Jose, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Westmont Warriors (Campbell, CA), 5-2 in a league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Branham for a Mount Hamilton challenge on Wednesday, April 20. Silver Creek will battle a Bruins squad coming off a 10-6 league win over Pioneer (San Jose, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 14-5.

With the loss, Westmont falls to 10-7 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Leland (San Jose, CA) to battle the Chargers in a Mount Hamilton challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Chargers enter the challenge with a record of 8-9. Leland lost 21-2 in their recent league challenge against Santa Teresa (San Jose, CA)
