The Lynnfield Pioneers the visiting Belmont Marauders baseball team by a count of 5-3 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Pioneers now possess a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Newburyport for a CAL Kinney match on Tuesday, April 18. Lynnfield will clash with a Clippers team coming off a 11-1 league win over North Reading (North Reading, MA). The Clippers record now stands at 3-1.
The Marauders (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Arlington (Arlington, MA). The Spy Ponders go into the Middlesex - Liberty match with a 2-5 record.
