The Byron Tigers baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats to 0 in the Tigers non-league victory on Saturday.
The Tigers (11-2) will now prepare for their match against Stillman Valley (Stillman Valley, IL). The Cardinals go into the Big Northern match with a 10-6 record. In their last match, Stillman Valley ran past Freeport (Freeport, IL), 5-4, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats (9-5) will now prepare for their match against Lena-Winslow (Lena, IL). The Panthers go into the non-league match with a 8-2 record. In their last match, Lena-Winslow ran past Amboy (Amboy, IL), 17-6, in a non-league match.
