The Cobre Indians (Bayard, NM) baseball trounced the visiting Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM), 19-2 in Saturday's league contest.

Coming up next, the Indians play the Socorro Warriors (Socorro, NM) in a 3A District 3 contest, on Wednesday, April 19. Cobre will attempt to better on its 14-5 season record. The Warriors enter the contest with a 2-15 record after their 15-1 non-league loss to Magdalena (Magdalena, NM).
