The Metro-East Lutheran Knights baseball team scored 10 runs and limited the visiting Lutheran Crusaders to 0 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
The Knights (2-9) will now prepare for their match against Lutheran (Springfield, IL). The Crusaders go into the non-league match with a 2-8 record. In their last match, Lutheran was overwhelmed by Nokomis (Nokomis, IL), 18-4, in a league match.
The Crusaders (2-10) will now prepare for their match against Metro-East Lutheran (Edwardsville, IL). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 0-9 record. In their last match, Metro-East Lutheran was overwhelmed by Marquette Catholic (Alton, IL), 12-2, in a league match.
