The Piedra Vista Panthers crushed the host West Mesa Mustangs baseball team by a count of 22-0 in Saturday's league bout.
The Panthers now possess a 15-7 record. They take the field next when they host Sandia for a 5A District 2 bout on Saturday, April 22. Piedra Vista will face a Matadors team coming off a 10-0 league loss to La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM). The Matadors record now stands at 13-8.
Next, the Mustangs face the Eldorado Golden Eagles (Albuquerque, NM) in a 5A District 2 bout, on Saturday, April 22. West Mesa will attempt to move on its 7-14 season record. The Golden Eagles enter the bout with a 9-13 record after their 10-1 league win over Farmington (Farmington, NM).
