The Silver Fighting Colts baseball team (Silver City, NM), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Volcano Vista Hawks (Albuquerque, NM)
The Hawks now hold a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rio Grande for a non-league outing on Monday, April 17. Volcano Vista will confront a Ravens team coming off a 10-2 league win over Albuquerque (Albuquerque, NM). The Ravens record now stands at 14-6.
Next, the Fighting Colts confront the Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM) in a 4A District 3 outing, on Tuesday, April 18. Silver will attempt to advance on its 0-17 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 6-14 record after their 12-9 league win over Chaparral (Chaparral, NM).
