The California Academy of Math & Science Rebels volleyball team (Carson, CA), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Buena Park Coyotes (Buena Park, CA)

The Coyotes (12-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Fullerton (Fullerton, CA). The Indians enter the Freeway challenge with a 17-8 record. In their last challenge, Fullerton nipped Monrovia (Monrovia, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Rebels meet the Wildwood Wolves (Los Angeles, CA) in a Coastal challenge, on Monday, April 17. California Academy of Math & Science will attempt to move on its 9-9 season record. The Wolves enter the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 league win over New Roads (Santa Monica, CA).
