Illinois High School Volleyball - Marian Catholic over St. Laurence

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Marian Catholic Spartans (Chicago Heights, IL) and the host St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL), saw Marian Catholic's volleyball squad beat St. Laurence by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Marian Catholic upgrades its record to 15-4 on the year. The Spartans host Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Friday, April 21. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 5-11.

The Vikings now own a 8-6 record. They play next when they host Chicago Christian for a non-league bout on Monday, April 17. St. Laurence will play a Knights squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Montini Catholic (Lombard, IL). The Knights record now stands at 5-10.
