In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences Vipers volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sun Valley Magnet Pioneers.

The Vipers (18-3) will now prepare for their battle against Panorama (Panorama City, CA). The Pythons come into the non-league battle with a 8-11 record. In their last battle, Panorama lost by San Fernando (San Fernando, CA), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Pioneers clash with the Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology Griffins (Sun Valley, CA) in a Central Valley battle, on Wednesday, April 19. Sun Valley Magnet will attempt to advance on its 4-5 season record. The Griffins come into the battle with a 2-4 record after their 3-1 league loss to Magnolia Science Academy 2 (Van Nuys, CA).
