The Kirtland Hornets (Kirtland, OH) lacrosse tipped the host South Rebels (Willoughby, OH), 6-5 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, Kirtland upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season.
With the defeat, South drops to 1-7 on the season. The Rebels host Riverside (Painesville, OH) to battle the Beavers in a Region 2 outing on Monday, April 17. The Beavers go into the outing with a record of 5-1. Riverside won 9-4 in their recent league outing against Lake (Uniontown, OH)
