Narragansett Mariners (Narragansett, RI) boosters exited the stadium content Saturday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the host Smithfield Sentinels (Esmond, RI), 12-11 in a league battle.

The Mariners now own a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ponaganset for a Division 3 battle on Tuesday, April 18. Narragansett will clash with a Chieftains squad coming off a 20-1 league loss to Smithfield (Esmond, RI). The Chieftains record now stands at 0-2.

In their next game, the Sentinels clash with the Toll Gate Titans (Warwick, RI) in a non-league battle, on Monday, April 17. Smithfield will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Titans come into the battle with a 3-1 record after their 17-4 league win over Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI).
