The Beecher Bobcats softball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Marquette Crusaders to 2 in the Bobcats non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Beecher improves its record to 17-1 on the year. The Bobcats travel to Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL) to clash with the Knights in a non-league game on Monday, April 17. The Knights come into the game with a record of 9-4. Lincoln-Way Central lost 4-3 in their recent non-league game against Pontiac (Pontiac, IL)

In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Wethersfield/Annawan Titans (Kewanee, IL) in a non-league game, on Monday, April 17. Marquette will attempt to improve on its 8-3 season record. The Titans come into the game with a 7-4 record after their 13-3 league loss to Biggsville West Central (Biggsville, IL).
